In Telugu, ‘Talpa’ refers to the couch of the serpent Adi Sesha.

- Gaali Gopuram :– The main entrance features a massive, 70-foot-tall ‘Gaali Gopuram’ (wind tower), adorned with seven 10-foot-tall gold-plated kalasams (spires) at its pinnacle.
- Sanctum and Main Idol :– Uniquely, the main deity faces the West direction towards the Penna River. Inside the sanctum sanctorum, Lord Ranganatha reclines gracefully on the serpent bed of Adi Sesha, with the idol measuring 10 feet in length.
