Situated in Gali Kasim Jan in the Ballimaran area of Chandni Chowk, this haveli is where Mirza Ghalib spent the final and most defining years of his life until his demise in 1869. After decades of neglect, realizing its immense cultural value, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and the Delhi Government restored a portion of it into a Memorial Museum. It was officially opened to the public in December 2000.

Constructed using traditional Lakhori bricks and lime mortar, the structure features a small central open courtyard flanked by arched corridors (dalan). Now functioning as a museum, its walls are adorned with couplets written by Ghalib, copies of his handwritten letters, rare photographs, utensils from that era, and traditional attire. A life-size bust of the great poet is also a central attraction of its internal layout.
