Located on the banks of the Gomti River in Gujarat, the Dwarkadhish Temple, also known as ‘Jagat Mandir‘, is one of the four sacred ‘Char Dhams‘. Mythology states that Lord Krishna established Dwarka as his capital after leaving Mathura. The original temple is believed to have been built by Krishna’s great-grandson, Vajranabha, over the Lord’s residence, ‘Hari Griha‘. The current structure dates back to the 15th-16th century, built in the majestic Chalukyan style.
